As a composer for film & TV, Pete’s compositions have been heard across film, television, and commercials all over the world, with clients including Ikea, Nike, Vice, Hyundai, Rolex, S-Power, British Airways, MOMA, Grand Théâtre de Genève, NYCB, BT Sport and The National Trust.
Alongside his scoring career, he is known as VLMV (pronounced “Alma”), a self-proclaimed 'ambient-ish post-something' songwriter and producer. His first album was released in 2015 on Fierce Panda to critical acclaim, and this year saw the release of his 4th studio album There Will Come Soft Rains alongside the ambient wellness works A Study of The English Countryside.

As a multi instrumentalist and bespoke composer Pete has worked on various styles and genres, including music for media, (Ikea, Hyundai, Rolex, Nike, Vice, S-Power, The National Trust, film trailers (BMG / BT Sport), wellness music (British Airways), as well as film composition, mixing and sound design (Diana Markosian / MOMA / New York City Ballet / Grand Théâtre de Genève)
