Pete’s compositions have been heard across commercials, film and television, all over the world, with clients including Ikea, Nike, Vice, Hyundai, Rolex, S-Power, British Airways, MOMA, BT Sport and The National Trust.

Alongside his scoring career, he is known as VLMV (pronounced “Alma”), a self-proclaimed 'ambient-ish post-something' songwriter and producer. His first album was released in 2015 on Fierce Panda to critical acclaim, and this year sees the release of his 4th studio album There Will Come Soft Rains as well as the ambient wellness works A Study of The English Countryside.

VLMV has been described as “quietly epic…like a beam of light through a dark, cold night.” by Lauren Laverne (BBC6 Music), and “Breath-taking in its scope…a shimmering soundscape of delicate ethereal beauty.” by The Independent.

Additionally VLMV have had many high profile syncs including Santander, Amazon's The Grand Tour, Republic of Sarah, Astrid et Raphaëlle, MTV's Teen Mom, The University of Zurich and BT Sport.

As a multi instrumentalist and bespoke composer Pete has worked on various styles and genres, including multiple trailers (BMG / BT Sport), wellness music (British Airways), film sound design and mixing (MOMA), as well as remixes, TV stings and production.
